Dear Reseller,

In order to remain compliant to ICANN regulations, we will begin sending out ERRP system-messages, in your name, to registrants on Thursday, 27-03-2014 for expiring domains in your accounts.

We have to send out emails on three separate occasions:

1st email: One month before expiration.
2nd email: One week before expiration.
3rd email: After expiration.

These e-mails will be sent from a white-labelled address (no-reply@hostcontrol.com) with no link to Resello. It will mention your support address both in the text, and as the reply-to address. This means replies to these e-mails will appear at your support box, and will appear as having been sent on your behalf.

The sending of these emails is mandatory. In case an email does not reach the recipient the bounced email will be delivered to your mail address as well.

The e-mail used is the default support e-mail address. You can add an e-mail address at Support > Departments, and set the default at Settings > Label settings > General.

Branding possibilities for email sent out by Resello

Coming Monday, you will have a new template appear in Support > Templates. You can add content to this e-mail (like some branding or text) as you see fit; the body of this email cannot be changed as it is required to mention this information from ICANN.

Thursday, unless we have heard otherwise (please see below), we will begin sending out emails based on your template to registrants of expiring domains.

Fulfill ICANN requirements yourself

Alternatively, you can choose to send out these emails yourself. Before disabling the process on our end, we will perform an audit on your process at set intervals throughout the year. Audits are available for a fixed rate of $250 yearly, and a one-time fee of $250 at the start (both non-refundable).

ERRP & ICANN Background

There are a number of regulations from ICANN aimed to preserve registrants rights. These consists of an e-mail being sent about whois accuracy, or domain expiration, and in the future, domain registration.

In accordance with ICANN compliancy regulations, the Expired Registrations Recovery Policy (ERRP) states that we must send out two e-mails to registrants about the expiration of their domains. This is to alert them about the expiration, and to allow them time to take steps against this (such as renewals with the current reseller, transfers, etc).

If the domain is expired and passes into grace renew, an additional e-mail is sent to inform the registrant that the domain expired. We are also forced to stop the expired domain from resolving, which we already do.


What else will be mandatory for ICANN compliance in the future?

Whois Domain Reminder Policy

In the nearby future, we will add WDRP (Whois Domain Reminder Policy) emails using this same system and logic. A registrants reply on WDRP mails will mean you will have to update the registrant's information.

Registrant verification

Next to mandatory emails, ‘Registrant Verification’ will be introduced. This means that with new domain registrations, transfers and updates, a check will be performed if the Registrant data is accurate.

We will inform you in due time about these changes, by means of other mailings.

قانون جدید icann باید ایمیل برای تمدید هر دامنه به صاحبش ارسال بشه . شما میتونید این ایمیل ها رو شخصی سازی کنید تا نامی از ریسلو نباشه و ایمیل به اسم شما به مشتری شما ارسال بشه . حتی میتونید ایمیل فرستنده هم شما باشید البته اگر شرایط رو انجام بدید و از تست رد بشید . بسیار خوب است و مطئنا برای فروشنده ای که دوست دارد نام او ذکر شود و نماینده بودنش از ریسلو مشخص نشود "بولشت" نسیت
